Welcome:

Kati Hanna welcomed PAC members

 

Approval of Minutes from January meeting

 

Talent Show: Friday, February 20th

  • Volunteers are still needed for :
  • Set-up, backstage, curtain and crowd control
  • Food has been secured by several local vendors. Krystal will look into getting a permit for the concession stand
  • MC will be Mrs. Dana Lenzo
  • Decorations will be done Friday afternoon
  • Marketing: Chamber of Commerce will advertise on their marquis
  • Pictures will be taken by Krystal Barnett

 Enrichment Engagements:

  • Explora Children’s Museum (March 2nd) -PAC will provide volunteers
  • Family Science Night (March 2nd)
  • Albuquerque Zoo (March 10th and 11th)

 Book Fair and Donuts with Dad: 

            Volunteers are needed

  • Book Fair will be March 5th- 13th
  • Donuts with Dad: (March 5th and 6th)
    • March 5th will be 1st graders
    • March 6th will be 2nd graders

 Playground Committee:

  • Equipment has been ordered. THANK YOU Mr. Bishop

 Upcoming Events:

  • Spring Fling: April 18th
  • Teacher to Teacher Open House (Nob Hill and SVP teachers) April
  • Open House to Kindergarten Parents, April 16th

Talent Show Results

”Ruidoso’s Got Talent” Show Proves to be a Huge Success

 

The 6th Annual SVP Talent Show, “Ruidoso’s Got Talent,” was held, Friday, February 20th at the RuidosoMiddle School Gym.  The event raised over $1,500.00 for Sierra Vista Primary.  If you would like a copy of the event video which includes interviews with contestants and teachers, the rehearsal night and Talent Show night, please contact Stacy in the SVP office and she will add you to the list.   

 We would like to thank the following people and companies for their contributions in making the talent show such a huge success.

Kristal Branscum (backstage organizer),  Dana Lenzo (M.C.), Tim Keithley (sound), Jake Ordorica (judge), Lisa Seigman (judge), Tom Miller (judge),  Aisela Magana, Derek Moorehead, Kaylah Glasgow, Kati Hanna, Molly Huey, Roberta Roser, Ann Marie Cordero and all of the SVP teachers.

Our Corporate Sponsors were IGA, La Sierra Restaurant, KFC, Pizza Hut, Sonic, Season’s Nursery, Brunells, Ruidoso News, Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce, The Wild Herb Market, Pepsi, Ruidoso Downs Racetrack & Casino, McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Schlotsky’s and The Hummingbird Tearoom.
